i have reminisced about Newgrounds before with people, a good majority of them had associated the website with the A-rated content, since that content is taboo & people crave taboo topics, so Newgrounds is unfortunately…synonymously a pornography website to the general public, exactly like Twitter & Reddit. when i joined almost a decade ago, Newgrounds was unusable on my iPhone 5s at the time, but since it is now accessible on mobile, i only imagine that side of the website had risen; take a guess why PSPs & DS handhelds were often associated with that type of content.
I like learning things!
I encourage you to learn by experience and to go out and try some things in the world!
And remember to get some fresh air, and to take some time out of your day to sit and think.

Hmm also noticed same stuff. A rated things are more "popular", but less quality. Or it's just too "for g00ners" that other people are rating it low because... Well freaky.
Zero bombing is kinda popular stuff I guess, but only with some toxic people who, for example, rating other people low (or in bad case, they're trolling victim)

Edit: actually I realized I could get in trouble if I don't follow licensing rules properly so I had to make a forum post about what's allowed with certain licenses so work on the post is delayed until I get good answers and if it turns out I can't link certain art I'm gonna have to spend a lot more time looking for art with different licenses
